Soazig, born and bred in Le Mans in the Sarthe region of France, studied classical music for the flute in Music School and later in life took a great interest in Breton music and dance, due to her maternal Breton origins. 

She has played with Keriz, the most accomplished Bagad in Paris, for a

number of years where she has honed her talent as a bombard player. 

Estren has given her the opportunity to create a mix between traditional

and classic styles of music.
